Alexandria Area High School basketball player Hadley Thul has been named one of six finalists for the 2025 Miss Minnesota Basketball award. Thul, along with five other finalists, will compete for the prestigious title on April 4th in Northfield as part of the Girls’ Basketball All-Star weekend. Thul’s impressive career includes playing in 129 Varsity games, scoring 2,122 points, and grabbing 1,007 rebounds, placing her at the top of the list for Alexandria. In addition to her scoring abilities, Thul also recorded 323 steals, 316 assists, and 103 blocked shots throughout her career. Thul’s accomplishments have solidified her as one of the finest players in Alexandria basketball history.
Thul and teammate Allie Haabala, along with Head Coach Wendy Kohler, will participate in the Minnesota Girls’ Basketball All-Star Series on April 4th and 5th. The series will kick off with a banquet on April 4th, where the 40 players and support staff will be introduced, and the Miss Minnesota Basketball award will be presented. The games will take place on April 5th at Carleton College. Thul’s exceptional performance on the court has earned her a spot among the elite finalists for the prestigious award, showcasing her talent and dedication to the sport of basketball.
