Former Minnesota Lynx Stars Inducted into Hall of Fame

The Minnesota Lynx are celebrating the induction of two of their former players, Maya Moore and Sylvia Fowles, into the Basketball Hall of Fame. Moore, the first overall pick in 2011, was a key player in the Lynx’s four WNBA Championships and earned multiple MVP awards during her eight-year career. Known for her impressive stats and unique playing style, Moore also made a name for herself as a brand representative for Jordan Basketball.

Fowles, the second overall pick in the 2008 draft, played eight seasons with the Lynx and was instrumental in their back-to-back championship wins. Known for her tenacious defense and imposing presence in the paint, Fowles also received multiple Defensive Player of the Year awards and an MVP honor during her 15-year career. With her impressive rebounding and shot-blocking abilities, Fowles was a fan-favorite and will go down as one of the most dominant centers in WNBA history.

As the Lynx look to the future and search for their next star talent in the upcoming WNBA Draft, they can take pride in the legacies of Moore and Fowles, who have solidified their places in basketball history with their Hall of Fame inductions. The organization continues to be a force in the league, thanks in part to the contributions of these outstanding players.
