Darnold had an impressive season with the Vikings, earning a Pro Bowl nod and finishing third in AP Comeback Player of the Year voting. He led the team to a 14-3 record with career-high passing yards and touchdowns.
Darnold was drafted by the New York Jets in 2018 and traded to the Carolina Panthers before joining the Vikings. The Vikings drafted J.J. McCarthy last year, who led Michigan to a national championship in his final college season.
