Rochester to host the annual Minnesota Power Pull event – ABC 6 News


The Minnesota Power Pull event at the Rochester Central Lutheran gymnasium was a success on Saturday, with over 70 participants from Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin ranging in age from 15 to 74 and skill levels from beginner to advanced. This event has been held for the past 20 years and aims to help rowing teams prepare for the upcoming Spring season. Participants had been training indoors for months and the Power Pull provided an opportunity to showcase their progress and readiness for the competitive season ahead. Ted Scheitel, coach of the Rochester Rowing Club, emphasized the importance of this event in evaluating the team’s preparedness.
