In boys’ basketball, Eden Prairie defeated Shakopee with a score of 72-61, while Wayzata came out on top against Hopkins with a final score of 68-55. In girls’ basketball, Stillwater triumphed over Forest Lake with a score of 49-43, and Farmington emerged victorious over Eastview with a close score of 65-63. The hockey games also saw some intense matchups, with Centennial defeating Maple Grove 5-3 in the boys’ game, and Blake earning a win against Edina in the girls’ game with a final score of 4-3.
On the wrestling front, Apple Valley won the Class 3A team championship, with Shakopee taking the Class 3A individual title. Simley clinched both the Class 2A team championship and individual title, while Minneota secured the Class 1A team championship, and Frazee emerged victorious in the Class 1A individual title.
