Minnesota Wild acquires forward Tyler Madden from Los Angeles Kings in exchange for defenseman Joseph Cecconi. Madden, a 25-year-old native of Florida, has recorded 25 points in 47 games with the AHL’s Ontario Reign this season. He brings a solid track record with 128 points in 251 AHL games and a silver medal from the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship with Team USA. Madden was originally selected in the third round of the 2018 NHL Draft by the Vancouver Canucks.
Cecconi, who collected 13 points in 51 games with the Iowa Wild this season, will be joining the Kings in the exchange. Madden will report to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League.
