Head coach Kevin O’Connell of the Minnesota Vikings has agreed to a contract extension after earning high praise from his players in the NFL Players Association Report Card. The Vikings maintained their second-place ranking in the league, behind the Miami Dolphins, for overall satisfaction among players.
Players rated various aspects of the organization, with the Vikings scoring the highest in treatment of families and the locker room. O’Connell received an A+ grade from his players for his efficiency and receptivity to feedback, ranking third among all head coaches in the NFL.
The team’s ownership, the Wilfs, also received high marks for their willingness to invest in the team and contribute to a positive culture, ranking second overall. The Vikings’ NFC North rivals, the Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions, and Chicago Bears, also ranked highly among players in the league.
Additionally, fans recently ranked the Vikings’ home stadium as having the best gameday experience in the NFL.
