Giuliani reached a settlement with the workers in January, after being found in contempt of court for failing to comply with orders related to the judgment. He falsely accused the women of election fraud, resulting in death threats and harassment from Trump supporters. The women testified that they felt unsafe and were reluctant to leave their homes due to the lies spread by Giuliani. The settlement agreement brought an end to what they described as a “living nightmare” over the past four years, allowing them to clear their names and restore their reputations. Giuliani has not responded to requests for comment on the matter.
