Authorities in northern Minnesota are investigating a deadly snowmobile crash that occurred on Friday night near Walker. The Cass County Sheriff’s Office suspects that alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, which resulted in the death of a 50-year-old man from Corpus Christi, Texas. Deputies responded to a 911 call reporting the crash, where they found the victim’s snowmobile had left a rural road and crashed into a snow embankment and trees. First-aid was administered at the scene before the victim was transported to a hospital in Park Rapids, where he later died from his injuries.
