The Minnesota Fishing Museum Reveals its 2025 Hall of Fame Inductees


Central Minnesota’s Minnesota Fishing Museum has announced its 2025 Hall of Fame inductees, with three individuals and two organizations set to be honored on September 26th. Professional angler and youth fishing advocate Jimmy Bell, professional fisherman and guide Don Pursch, and fishing expert and television personality Jon Thelen will be enshrined, alongside Nesheim Bait and Ray’s Sport & Marine, two organizations with deep roots in the Minnesota fishing industry.

The Minnesota Fishing Hall of Fame, located in Little Falls, recognizes individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the sport fishing industry in the state. Each year, up to four people and two organizations are honored for their impact on Minnesota’s fishing community.

The induction ceremony, set to take place on September 26th, will celebrate the achievements and contributions of the 2025 Hall of Fame inductees. Residents and fishing enthusiasts are invited to join in the celebration and honor those who have played a key role in shaping Minnesota’s fishing culture.
