The Red Cross was present for the orderly handover of the two hostages in Khan Younis, with two hostages on their way back to Israel. The Israeli military confirmed the handover of the two hostages and is preparing for Siegel’s release. The hostage exchange is underway in Gaza, with American Keith Siegel among the three hostages set to be released according to Hamas. Siegel was taken during the Oct. 7, 2023, attack by Hamas.
