Minnesota State men’s hockey has climbed to No. 12 in the USCHO.com Division I national rankings and No. 13 in the USA Hockey/The Rink Live Poll. The team is on a hot streak, winning four straight games and remaining unbeaten in their last nine. Campbell Cichosz was named CCHA Defenseman of the Week, while Rhett Pitlick scored the game-winning goal in overtime. The Mavericks are set to host Lake Superior State this weekend at Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center.
Michigan State, who had previously held the top position, fell out but remains in the top five. Other CCHA schools, including Bemidji State and Michigan Tech, also received national votes. This is the highest ranking the Mavericks have achieved this season since April 10, 2023.
The USCHO.com and USA Hockey/The Rink Live Polls both provide rankings of the top college hockey teams in the nation, with input from coaches and journalists across the country. Fans can follow the Mavericks as they continue their success on the ice this season.
