In Alexandria, Minnesota, a man spent his Thanksgiving in jail after being accused of driving under the influence in the wrong direction on Interstate 94. Multiple 911 calls reported the man driving a pickup truck west in the eastbound lane in Douglas County at 3 a.m. Deputies caught up with him near mile marker 106 and used their vehicles to stop him. He was arrested for DWI, with a breathalyzer test showing his blood alcohol content was three and a half times the legal limit. The man faces several charges and will appear before a judge after the holiday. Both his vehicle and a Douglas County patrol vehicle sustained minor damage during the incident.
