ACI Airports Council International (ACI) World, in collaboration with Amadeus, has recently announced the winners of the 2024 Technology Innovation Awards at the ACI Airports Innovate event held in Rome. These awards recognize the airport technology initiatives that are shaping the future of air travel, enhancing passenger experiences, and improving operational efficiency in the aviation industry.
The winners of this year’s awards include Dallas Love Field Airport for their 3D LED Holographic Signage Fan Displays, Toronto Pearson International Airport for their AI-Powered Turnaround Operations Optimization, Emanuele Calà of Aeroporti di Roma for his leadership in technological advancements, and Gerald R. Ford International Airport for their Ford Launchpad for Innovative Technologies and Entrepreneurship (FLITE).
The Technology Innovation Awards program invites airports from around the world to submit their most innovative technology projects, with a focus on enhancing passenger journeys, streamlining operations, and introducing new technologies that benefit both airport employees and stakeholders.
