Former Patriots player Danny Amendola, along with two Olympians, Worcester native and gymnast Stephen Nederosick, and Burlington native and rugby sevens player Ilona Maher, competed as finalists on the latest season of Dancing With the Stars. The record-breaking season culminated in Joey Graziadei from “The Bachelor” being crowned the winner.
Amendola, known for his key role in New England’s victory in Super Bowl XLIX, showcased his skills on the dance floor with his pro partner Whitney Carson. Despite scoring well in his routines, he finished fifth overall in the competition. Ilona Maher, an Olympic medalist and influencer known for her empowerment and body positivity content on TikTok, impressed the judges with her performances and scored well but ultimately came in second place.
Olympic gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik, also known as the “Pommel horse guy,” showcased his talents on the ballroom floor alongside partner Rylee Arnold. Despite being a newcomer to dancing, Nedoroscik received high scores for his routines and finished fourth overall in the competition. The season was filled with fierce competition and outstanding performances from the New England-connected celebrities.
