Two Grand Forks residents, Tina Annette Klein, 68, and Charles Roland Hill, 62, were tragically killed in a single-vehicle crash in Pennington County on Monday morning, November 25. The Minnesota State Patrol reported that the pair was traveling eastbound on Center Street West in Bray Township when their 2007 Honda Pilot left the roadway, rolled, and came to rest in the westbound ditch. Despite both individuals wearing seatbelts and no alcohol being involved, the snowy and icy road conditions likely contributed to the accident.
The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office, Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Sanford Ambulance, and St. Hillaire Fire all responded to the scene of the crash. The news of the incident has shocked the community of Grand Forks and serves as a tragic reminder of the importance of safe driving in adverse weather conditions.
