A woman in Florida helped authorities find her location in Volusia County where she was being held by an attacker by calling 911 and pretending to order a pizza. Luis Diego Hernandez-Moncayo, 27, was arrested and charged with attempted sexual battery, battery by strangulation, and false imprisonment. During the 911 call, the woman calmly asked for a pizza while giving hints about her situation. Deputies were able to track her location to a field in Pierson where they found Hernandez-Moncayo allegedly attacking the woman. Body camera footage shows the moment deputies approached and rescued the woman. She explained that they went to the field to drink but he became violent and wouldn’t let her go after taking drugs. Sheriff Chitwood praised the victim’s quick thinking in calling for help and the deputies’ swift response in rescuing her. Hernandez-Moncayo, who is undocumented, is facing an immigration detainer.
