Former Abercrombie & Fitch CEO, Mike Jeffries, has been arrested on sex trafficking and interstate prostitution charges in West Palm Beach, Florida. Two associates, Matthew Smith and James Jacobson, were also arrested in connection with sex trafficking charges. The U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York will hold a press conference on the charges. The arrests come after a BBC report last year claimed Jeffries hosted sex parties where men were exploited. Jeffries’ attorney said he would respond to the allegations after the Indictment is unsealed. Abercrombie & Fitch expressed disgust at the allegations in the BBC report. Jeffries was also sued for allegedly sexually abusing men under the guise of offering modeling contracts. Attorney Brittany Henderson, representing victims from the lawsuit, said the arrests are monumental for the victims and they will continue to fight for justice. The victims are seeking to hold Abercrombie & Fitch accountable for the misconduct. This is a developing story and updates will be provided.
