A drone strike was launched towards Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s house in Caesarea, north of Tel Aviv, but he and his wife were not in the building, and there were no causalities. The Israel Defense Forces said a drone from Lebanon hit a structure in the area, with two other drones intercepted. This incident comes shortly after Israel killed Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in the Gaza Strip. Netanyahu called Sinwar’s death the “beginning of the end” for Hamas and emphasized that the conflict is not yet over. Following Sinwar’s death, Hezbollah, an Iran-backed militant group and Hamas ally in Lebanon, pledged to escalate fighting against Israel. The situation is still unfolding, and updates are expected.
