Trump was later seen leaving the golf course and returning to his Mar-a-Lago resort. Senator Lindsey Graham spoke with Trump after the incident and said that Trump is safe and in good spirits. The White House has confirmed that both the President and Vice President have been briefed on the situation and are relieved to know that Trump is safe. Vice President Kamala Harris also commented on the incident, stating that violence has no place in America. Despite the incident, it is reported that it will not affect Trump’s campaign schedule for the upcoming week.
