Remains of missing climber located in Glacier National Park

The body of missing climber Grant Marcuccio, 32, was found in Glacier National Park in Montana one-third of a mile east of McPartland Peak. He had been reported missing a week earlier after failing to appear at a rendezvous spot. The cause of death is still under investigation, but it is believed that he fell. Marcuccio had left his hiking group to summit McPartland Peak alone, which is higher than 8,000 feet. Searches by ground and air were conducted before his body was spotted by Two Bear Air and taken to the coroner. The park service offered their condolences to his family and asked for privacy for the family during this difficult time.
