Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota’s executive leadership team and board of directors recently visited Alomere in Alexandria for a listening tour. The purpose of the visit was to engage in dialogue about the future of healthcare and learn about the healthcare needs of communities in the area. Alomere CEO Carl Vaagenes expressed appreciation for the opportunity to discuss challenges faced by a rural independent health system with Blue Cross leadership. Blue Cross President and CEO Dana Erickson highlighted the importance of collaborating to improve the health of communities in west central Minnesota and beyond.
