Former President Donald Trump is ramping up his campaign efforts in Minnesota, a historically blue state that he believes he can win in the upcoming election. Trump, along with his running mate Sen. JD Vance, is set to hold a rally in St. Cloud, Minnesota, with the expectation of facing Vice President Kamala Harris in the election.
During a recent bitcoin conference in Nashville, Trump outlined his plans to support cryptocurrency if elected, aiming to make the U.S. a “bitcoin superpower.” He has been strategically targeting voters in Minnesota, particularly in the iron mining range, with hopes of swaying blue-collar and union workers to the Republican side.
Despite losing Minnesota to Joe Biden in the 2020 election, Trump remains confident in his ability to win the state this time around. His campaign has been actively hiring staff and opening offices in Minnesota, with the state seen as a battleground where Trump is competitive with Biden.
On the other hand, Harris’ campaign in Minnesota has voiced opposition to Trump and Vance, stating that they are out of touch with the state’s values and are unlikely to win over voters. Despite this, Trump is moving forward with his campaign efforts, scheduling rallies in indoor venues and potentially resuming outdoor gatherings.
With a focus on supporting cryptocurrency and appealing to Minnesota voters, Trump’s campaign is gearing up for a competitive race in the upcoming election.
