The conflict between Israel and Hezbollah has been ongoing since October, with Israel targeting Hezbollah military infrastructure and Hezbollah launching rockets in response.
The violence has claimed the lives of hundreds in Lebanon, mostly Hezbollah members, and dozens in Israel. Tens of thousands of people have been displaced on both sides of the border. The situation has raised fears of a wider regional war in the Middle East. Diplomatic efforts are ongoing to de-escalate tensions and prevent further violence.
