Suzanne Marie Copeland Carroll, a beloved member of the El Dorado community, passed away at 77. She was survived by her daughter, son, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as numerous relatives. Known for her cooking, gardening, and love of family, Suzie will be dearly missed. She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church and had a special bond with her friend Earline. Her husband, Dr. Peter J. Carroll, and stepson Jeff preceded her in death.
A service will be held on August 2, 2024, at the First Presbyterian Church, with Father Chuck Chapman officiating. Memorials can be made to the church, the UAMS Peter J. Carroll Scholarship Fund, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The family expressed gratitude to caregivers Mary Jane Gregory, Joanna Hill, and Deborah McMurray.
Suzanne, the youngest of 15 siblings, had a love for holidays and hosting family gatherings. She was known as “Dandee” to her grandchildren and shared many special moments with her partner in crime, Earline. Her family finds solace in knowing she is reunited with her beloved Pa.
