In a recent Twitter poll conducted from June 1-30, 242 gay Korean men participated in voting for their favorite male celebrities. Actor Son Suk Goo emerged as the most popular celebrity among the respondents, with 3.51% of the votes. He had also claimed the top spot in the same poll in 2023. Following closely behind were Lee Jun Hyuk in 2nd place and Jung Hae In in 3rd place.
Former judo world champion An Changrim secured 4th place, while TOMORROW x TOGETHER’s Soobin and Nam Joo Hyuk shared the 5th spot. The rest of the top 10 rankings included Wi Ha Joon, Seventeen’s Mingyu, Seo Kang Jun, TWS’s Shinyu, Dohoon, Lee Jae Hoon, and actor Ha Suk Jin. Taiwanese actor Hsu Kuang Han rounded out the top 10 list.
Several other celebrities also made it to the top 20, including Lee Jin Wook, ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo, Kim Min Kyu, Son Heung Min, Lee Do Hyun, TXT’s Yeonjun, Kang Tae Oh, Byun Woo Seok, RIIZE’s Sungchan, and RIIZE’s Wonbin. The poll results shed light on the preferences of gay Korean men when it comes to male celebrities, showcasing a diverse range of actors, athletes, and idols.
